We engineered the Sentinel Survival Core around one principle. Truth Through Physics. All else flows downstream of that mandate. In the AI/Quantum Era software and networks can easily be infiltrated, spoofed, and misled into operating under parameters that may not exist in the monitored asset's environmental context. Tough lessons were learned in the wake of the "Stuxnet" attack. Software can report data that is spoofed while an asset is being commanded to operate in unsafe or destructive states. Therefore, all decisions must be made with data gathered by measuring ground truth physics.

The moment Sentinel's advanced sensor applications detect destructive anomalies that exist outside of defined thresholds, the sub-10-microsecond Survival Core interdicts the commanded behavior by opening the circuit to the asset.

The ARGOS AI Core

Sentinel's faithful vigilant AI guardian

By decoupling safety from software, we also had to decouple AI from software and the cloud. That's why we hardcoded our ARGOS AI core into silicon and placed it directly next to the source of ground truth physics. While the Survival Core interdicts the destruction from picosecond transients and environmental contexts, the ARGOS Core is analyzing and processing hundreds of thousands of analog signals per second with the mission of identifying long term patterns in the behavior of an asset. 

This data is then sent to our proprietary ARGOS AI Dashboard/API where asset owners and operators can make decisions for predictive maintenance, forensics, actuarial purposes, or business analytics.

Right now, established firms, hardware and tech companies are focused on advanced gas and smoke detectors, better HVAC solutions, and other products that tinker around the edge.
